The date was 15th February 2018. After being under the weather for several days with a virus all of a sudden your temperature spiked and you had a febrile seizure. My knowledge of these types of seizures was non-existent up until this day. You had been quite lethargic, breathing rapidly and felt very hot. We rang the NHS helpline for advice and at that moment you began to shake. It was the most frightening experience of my life. We travelled by ambulance to the hospital and spent 6 1/2 hours having your observations taken.
We got to take you home that night. I was so relieved but I was panicking at the thought of putting you to bed alone.
You always amaze me with how fast you are growing up but in that moment, I was reminded of how small & helpless you still are.
I hugged you so much tighter that night <3
